Mid-June
Everyone else has day jobs, some people moved, and others went back to school. So it's down to really just me at the moment around here.
But for the time being you can catch me working over on Alucard's Rose and over on
Andrew and the Aluminumsidings
Until things pick up again around the office, I will wish you all a great season.

Spring 2007

I am back in the editing room once again with Setla (from Beyond Innosense) working on the documentary Poet Feels Numb. We have been working on again off again on this one for 8 years.
Also in the hcvp headquarters working on some music for a play Setla is writing/producing. So that means that yes hardcore Vamps Prods., and Beyond Innosense are mixing together again.
And if you have not been over to out Flickr account then here are a few pics from our last photo shoot with RJ last month.

See No Evil
I just rented the movie SEE NO EVIL from WWEFILMS and it was such a let down. After months of previews that looked slick and interesting, this film didn't live up to it's own hype. The action starts off with two cops finding a girl being held by a crazy guy who hacks them up. Four years later a group of teens spend a weekend in an old building where this crazy guy is hiding. A mindless slasher movie that promises alot of horror but turns soft at the end. The writers/producers should have made up their minds if the character played by WWE's Kane was suppose to be evil or if we should feel sorry for him. The twist at the end isn't much of a twist and it just seems to undo what the rest of the movie was trying to do, which was creep the viewers out. This movie does however show that if Kane were given a better script could be a major movie star.

Revenge not so sweet
What does an overstressed reporter, some bad hair, and a murder have in common? They are all the key ingredents in the novel Revenge of the Cootie Girls by Sparkle Hayter. This is a fun yet slightly over the top murder mystery by one of the best chicklit writers around. We find our lead Robin Hudson just trying to relax after work with her best friends on Hallowe'en night in New York, but everything that could go wrong does when she is haunted by her past. Having to find her missing intern and keep what is left of her sanity is harder then it seems as she dodges mobsters and sometimes boyfriends in this comical-suspense story. From sceens of cab drivers under curses to bald fortunetellers this book will keep you laughing from cover to cover.

wolf moon

Naked Brunch by Sparkle Hayter is the 2002 relase from the top of the chicklit writers. We are taken through a four and a half month journey as a female werewolf deals with her relationships as well as the discovery of a major plot to take over the world. If you are a fan of her mystery novels then this one won't shock you at all, but if you are looking for the typical romance novel this whould give you a fresh change of pace. Once again Sparkle Hayter has given us somethng to sink our teeth into while we do some soul searching.

modern monster mash
There were three books in a series by Elvira. Transylvania 90210, Camp Vamp, and The Boy who Cried Werewolf. All were don in the late 1990s and are slim reads with a twist on the three tradtional monster. A fun way to waste a few hours this season.

RUMOR HAS IT

this is one internet rumor that is not a new one, nor a new rumor in the world of movies, but with the resent re-release of the dvd LOST BOYS the chances of a sequal is stronger now then ever. There is even said to be a script already well underway. Heres crossing our fingers that this is one rumor that turns out to be the real deal.
